Privacy Policy
This policy describes how LeafCloud handles personal data under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable law. LeafCloud is operated by Jagadeeswara Reddy.
Data we collect
- Your email address and sign-in session details, including an IP address prefix and user agent.
- When you use the CLI: its version, operating system, and device architecture.
- Answers you choose to give on the waiting list, such as what you would host and whether you are a student.
- The site files you deploy.
- Request logs for hosted sites, used for security and bandwidth counting.
Why and on what basis
We use this data to provide sign-in and hosting, send beta invitations and service messages, operate the waiting list, secure the service, count bandwidth, and respond to support requests or legal obligations. Depending on the purpose, the basis is your consent or a legitimate use permitted by applicable data protection law.
Storage and processors
Data is stored in India, in Bengaluru and Delhi. To operate LeafCloud, we use cloud infrastructure providers with data centres in India and an email delivery provider. These processors handle data only as needed for their service to us.
Retention
The periods below describe our current practice. Some data may remain in backups until those backups expire.

Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access or correct your personal data, request erasure, raise a grievance, or nominate another person to exercise your rights if you die or become incapable. You may withdraw consent where processing relies on consent; this does not affect processing already carried out.

Children
LeafCloud is for people aged 18 or older, unless a parent or legal guardian consents to use by a younger person. A parent or guardian can contact us about a child’s data.
Security
We use access controls, secure sign-in, encryption in transit, and monitoring to help protect data. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Please contact us promptly if you think an account or site has been accessed without permission.
Changes and grievance contact
We may update this policy as the service changes and will post the updated version here with a new date.
