Nuxt

Deploy a Nuxt site to LeafCloud.

Validated with Node v24.22.1, Nuxt 4.6.2, Vue 3.5.44, vue-router 5.4.0, and npm. No config change is required; the detected build command is nuxt generate.

  1. Create a minimal Nuxt project:

    Terminal window
    npx nuxi@latest init app --template minimal --packageManager npm --no-gitInit --no-install < /dev/null
    cd app
    npm install < /dev/null
  2. No config change is needed.

  3. Preview the deployment:

    Terminal window
    leaf deploy --dry-run

    Expected output:

    Framework: Nuxt
    Package manager: npm
    Build command: nuxt generate
    Output directory: .output/public
    Files: 14
    Total size: 230863 bytes
    Dry run: nothing was uploaded.

A real deploy prints ✓ Live at <url> (<files> files, <uploaded> uploaded) instead of the final dry-run line.

Nuxt; nuxt generate; .output/public.

No Nuxt-specific refusal was captured in validation.

Run leaf deploy --dry-run --json first. Check the exit code and stop if the JSON contains "error". After a successful dry run, run leaf deploy --json --yes. Never print credentials.

Validated on 2026-10-23 with Nuxt 4.6.2.
